Tradition. Grace. Poise.
Our Philosophy
The Deane School is dedicated to teaching the proper fundamentals in dance discipline, as well as an appreciation of dance as a fine art. Our guiding principle is that dance is of prime importance to the physical and cultural development of the student.
All children should have the advantage of dance training from the standpoint of health, poise, posture, coordination, and rhythm. The Deane School offers instruction for students aged three to adult in disciplines of ballet, pointe, tap, jazz and lyrical.
Preschool students are required to wear a pink leotard with pink tights, which may be purchased at the studio. Intermediate and senior students must wear a black leotard and pink tights for ballet classes. For ballet classes, hair must be put up and away from face.
